SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and pharmacology and concerns medication for improving and/or recovery of reproductive function, which represents α-crystalline form of 9-phenyl-simm-octahydroselenoxanthene of formula 
1 with powder radiograph obtained on Cu-K source of irradiation with indices of characteristic reflection, expressed in degrees of diffraction angle 2θ: 6.0 12.0 15.0 17.0 19.0 20.0 21.5, 21.7, 20.9 25.0 27.0 28. 0 29.0 37.0 and melting temperature 96.8°C.
EFFECT: reduction of toxicity and therefore increase of permissible doses.
