FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of making multilayer barrier structure in a battery of solid oxide fuel cells involves the following steps: providing a metal connecting component; depositing onto the said metal connecting component a first metal oxide layer which contains a mixture of metal oxides selected from a group comprising cobalt oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide or a mixture of said oxides; depositing a second metal oxide layer onto the said first metal oxide layer; depositing a third metal oxide layer onto the said second metal oxide layer; formation of a battery of solid oxide elements, containing the said metal connecting component, coated with the said metal oxide layers and reaction of the metal oxide in the said first metal oxide layer with the metal of the said metal connecting component when initialising the battery of solid oxide fuel cells (SOC).
EFFECT: improved protection form chromium poisoning, longer service life of the cell, easy manufacture.
