FIELD: solid-oxide fuel cells.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cathode-electrolyte-anode (CEA) assembly for solid-oxide fuel cell has electrodes on its rear side used to establish contact between flat junction strip and projecting structure designed to form gas circulation passages together with mentioned strip. CEA assembly and junction strips may have holes to form tubes for gas inlet and outlet. Electrolyte-to-electrode interface can be made in the form of projecting structure which enhances ratio of surface area as a whole to its projection area.
EFFECT: reduced resistance of assembly.
