FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing hydrogen-containing gas in the presence of porous catalytic membrane, and may be used in processing of renewable biomass. Proposed catalytic membrane comprises module produced by vibro compression of superfine exothermic mix of nickel and aluminium and catalytic coat comprising palladium, or mix of palladium with cobalt, or mix of palladium with zinc. Proposed method of producing hydrogen-containing gas by conversion of the mix of hydrocarbon stock and carbon dioxide at increased pressure and temperature in filtration conditions on aforesaid porous catalytic membrane wherein process is conducted at above described rated of feeding mix of hydrocarbon stock and carbon dioxide through above described porous catalytic membrane. Biomass treatment products are used as hydrocarbon stock.

EFFECT: reduced amount of applied active components of catalyst, conversion of hydrocarbon stock in synthesis gas approximating to 100%.
