FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to automatic actuation method of free travel mode of transport vehicle. Method involves installation of control device into one of positions between non-operating position of auxiliary brake and operating position. When auxiliary brake is switched off as a result of manual installation of control device to the above non-operating position, free travel function is automatically brought into action if free travel condition is detected.
EFFECT: improving fuel economy.
