FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: low gear is thrown in for breakaway, traction torque is controlled to define if low gear is too high for first breakaway at current conditions. In case low gear is too high, first breakaway is interrupted to automatically brake the vehicle. Low gear is disengaged to select and throw in adapted second for breakaway and to control traction torque. Breakaway second featured higher gear ratio compared with low gear. Second attempt of breakaway is made. In case sufficient torque is transmitted to driving wheels, braking is terminated. Proposed vehicle comprises power plant, step-by-step automatic transmission, driving wheels, brake and control unit. Said control unit allows effecting said stages.
EFFECT: reliable breakaway.
