FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing water-resistant gypsum binder and can be used in the industry of construction materials. In the method of preparing water-resistant gypsum binder, which involves mixing ground gypsum dihydrate with an additive and subsequent thermal treatment of the mixture until conversion of the gypsum dihydrate to hemihydrate, the additive used is microsilica and amphoteric hydroxide. Before thermal treatment, the mixture is pressed at pressure not lower than 100 MPa, with the following ratio of components in wt %: gypsum dehydrate 90.0-93.0, microsilica 1.0-2.0, amphoteric hydroxide 6.0-8.0. The invention is developed in subclaims.
EFFECT: stable increase in water-resistance of the gypsum binder.
