Source of supply is source of supply of impulse-periodic action, having duty current, I duty, from 0.06 A to 0.15 A, and for capacity of gas-discharge lamp, Dl, W, amplitude of periodic current impulse, Ia, per, A, frequency of periodic current impulse, ν, Hz, and time of periodic current impulse passage, Timp., sec, the following ratio is met: where K - coefficient of proportionality with dimension of A/W numerically equal to 1.0.
EFFECT: improved energy efficiency of lamp in optical area of spectrum.
