FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming with high-intensity plastic deformation and serves to produce nanocrystalline structure of materials with higher mechanical properties. Proposed device comprises loading assembly and female die made up of two half-dies. Each half-die has one parallel channel and one intermediate semi-channel. Each half-die has ledge arranged in semi-channel of opposite half-die with slide fit. Half-dies may move. Free parts of semi-channels form intermediate channel when jointed together. Said intermediate channel and parallel channels form inner acute crossed angles. Proposed device comprises base and top bridge with mounting surface moving vertically. Loading assembly is made up of two telescopic cylinders consisting of outer cylinder with piston and rod. Outer cylinder piston accommodates inner cylinder with piston and rod. Inner cylinder represents an axial punch. One of half-dies is mounted on base, while the other one is located on top bridge mounting surface. One of outer cylinders is coupled with the base while the other one is articulated with top bridge.
EFFECT: higher plastic deformation and efficiency of metal structure formation.
