FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses multibeam star-like polydimethylsiloxanes of general formula where A denotes a 5th - 7th generation carbosilane dendrimer, which is the centre of the star-like structure; X denotes Li, Si(CH3)3, Si(CH3)2CH=CH2, Si(CH3)2C6H5 or Si(CH3)2H; n is the degree of polymerisation and is equal to 2-2000; m is the number of beams associated with the dendrimer branching centre. For the 5th, 6th or 7th generation dendrimer, m equals 64, 128 or 256, respectively.
EFFECT: disclosed siloxanes contain over 60 beams, do not have polydispersity on the number of beams, and have functional groups at the outer end of each beam, which, if necessary, enable further transformation to modify terminal groups, obtaining different layered copolymers and creating cellular structures.
