FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemistry and chemical technology of organosilicon compounds. Proposed is a new method for producing polysiloxane molecular brushes by the general formula (I), wherein R represents a radical -CH3 or -C2H5, n stands for an integer from a series of numbers from 12 to 3,000, and m stands for an integer from a series of numbers from 8 to 150. The method includes the interaction of poly(sodiumoxy)methylsiloxane and vinyldimethyl chlorosilane resulting in a polyfunctional linear polymethyl(vinyldimethylsiloxy)silsesquioxane containing a vinyldimethylsiloxy group by each silicon atom of the main chain, and the subsequent hydrosilylation thereof with a monofunctional hydride-containing linear polydiorganosiloxane by the general formula C4H9-[R2SiO]m-SiR2H.
EFFECT: creation of a new, more technologically simple method for producing polyorganosiloxane molecular brushes of the set structure, which ensures the control of the side chain grafting density.
