FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy and may be used for producing working bodies for grinding, mixing, emulsifying and other processes. Proposed method comprises adding aerosil to powder strontium or barium hexaferrites and mixing in variable electromagnetic field with intensity of 50-60 kA/m. Obtained mix material is granulated by adding thereto of sodium or potassium liquid glass and 10-12% solution of polyvinyl acetate emulsion. Thereafter, granules are dried, annealed at 1200±20°C for 5-15 min, cooled down to room temperature and magnetised in constant electromagnetic field with intensity of 100-120 kA/m.

EFFECT: improved magnetic and strength characteristics, higher density, and size uniformity.
