FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: composition contains a mixture of base diesel gas-oil fuel which is not derived from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and a kerosene fuel product derived from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The base diesel gas-oil fuel has boiling point in the range 290-400°C, while the kerosene fuel product has boiling point in the range 190-260°C. The composition can additionally contain gas-oil derived from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, having final boiling point in the range 150-400°C. The composition is obtained by mixing components and is used as fuel for internal combustion engines.
EFFECT: use of the fuel composition increases efficiency of the combustion process in an engine, increases engine power and reduces accelerating time, the product can be used to reduce engine emissions, improve cold flow characteristics and increase cetane number of the fuel composition.
