FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: basic kerosene fuel has the initial boiling point in the range of 130 to 160°C and the end boiling point in the range of 250 to 300°C, which are determined as per ASTM standard, method D86, and which contain less than 15 wt % of aromatic compounds and at least 80 wt % of aliphatic hydrocarbons, at least 20 vol. % of which represent n-paraffins and at least 25 vol. % of which represent cycloparaffins, the content of which is determined as per ASTM standard, method D2425. Basic kerosene fuel is produced from kerogen of bituminous shale by obtaining kerogen from pyrolised conversion product in the occurrence place and has the hardening temperature of less than -40°C, which is determined as per ASTM, method D2386. Besides, the invention is related to the use of the above basic fuel in jet propellant compositions, as well as to the use as mixing component of jet propellant composition. Operating method of a number of motors is proposed as well.
EFFECT: fuel has good thermal stability, low density and high energy saving.
