FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: there is melted steel containing 0.010 ≤ C ≤ 0.20, 0.06 ≤ Mn ≤ 3, Si ≤ 1.5, 0.005 ≤ Al ≤ 1.5, S ≤ 0.030, P ≤ 0.040, 2.5 ≤ Ti ≤ 7.2, (0.45×Ti) - 0.35 ≤ B ≤ (0.45×Ti) + 0.70, not necessary one or more elements chosen from Ni ≤ 1, Mo ≤ 1, Cr ≤ 3, Nb ≤ 0.1, V ≤ 0.1, iron and unavoidable impurities - the rest. Steel is cast into semi-product at temperature exceeding temperature of liquidus of said steel not more than at 40°C and is hardened. Semi-finished product is heated at temperature and duration which facilitate density of eutectic extractions of TiB2 and, possible, Fe2B with maximal size Lmax over 15 mcm and with ratio of width to thickness f>5 less 400 mm-2. Semi-finished product is hot rolled and the plate is produced. The plate is welded or at least one blank is cut out from it and deformed at a temperature range from 20 to 900°C, and a part is fabricated.
EFFECT: upgraded level of working characteristics due to reduced weight and raised modulus of elasticity.
