SUBSTANCE: method of generating keys involves obtaining keys for the process of authenticating a first network when user equipment accesses a second network and/or during handover of the user equipment from the first network to the second network. The keys for the process of authenticating the first network is generated using a second network device based on a random value used in the authentication process in the first network, and generation by the first network device of a set of associated keys for the authentication process which is performed in the said second network, based on the said keys for the authentication process of the first network and identification information of network objects of the second network. Network objects are linked through the authentication process performed in the second network.
