FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to apparatuses for preventing and treating spinal disorders. A spinal traction apparatus comprises an attachment with a user platform. The platform is used for placing thereon a user in a dorsal position. The attachment reciprocates on an elongated element accommodating a user's foot restraint and/or a user's pelvis restraint. The elongated element is pinned in its centre on a support. A method of spinal traction involving the application of the spinal traction apparatus consists that any of the offered apparatuses are applied for spinal traction.
EFFECT: design simplification, higher convenience, safety and cost saving.
