FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to optical devices for hair growth control. The device comprises a regulating light emitter, a measuring light emitter radiating in a target region of a human body at wave length 400 nm to 1000 nm, at wave length 200 nm to 400 nm respectively, a light receiver receiving measuring light reflected from the target region; a processor designed to process measuring light data received in the light receiver; and an irradiation counter that resolves radiating from the regulating light emitter on the basis of the processing data prepared by the processor and designed to control regulating light from the regulating light emitter according to said resolution. In the first version, the processor is configured to receive a cross-section curvature radius on said target region by means of a light section technique, and to derive the curvature radius, while the irradiation counter enables resolving not to emit regulating light from said regulating light emitter when the curvature radius relates to the curvature radius inherent to a person's eyeball. In the second version, the light emitter is configured to radiate measuring light which is polarised in a specific direction, and the receiver is able to receive the measuring light polarisation data. In the third version, the processor is configured to calculate the amount of light received onto the light receiver, and the counter resolves whether light shall be emitted from said regulating light emitter on the basis of the amount of measured light.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions will allow higher safety in light emitting on the target region.
