SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, particularly to hair growth control apparatuses. The apparatus comprises a light emitter exposing to light of the energy not causing any changes of cell morphology during 1 ms and less, for controlling hair growth of a desired region of a human body; a hair follicle approaching means designed to bring the hair follicle on the designed region of the human body to said light emitter when said light is emitted; said approaching means and light emitter are arranged so that to cover only one desired region of the body. In the various versions of the apparatus, the approaching means is presented with either mechanical shaver with a head for pressing on the desired region, or a mechanical body epilator with a head equipped with hair grips for the desired region of the body, or an abrasive means for skin cleaning which is an abrasive roller.

EFFECT: when using the apparatus, higher effectiveness of light irradiation of the body part due to using the hair follicle approaching means and its structural characteristics, and also due to energy characteristics of the emitted light on the desired region.
