FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing section of strip consisting of flexible strip material. Break-off lines are arranged on strip material sections to loose the strip, not detaching strip section from material strip. Note that strip sections are detached from material strip along said break-off line. Note also that said material strip represents a fabric produced from drawn plastic strips while break-off line is made by laser beam. Mind that laser beam is directed with the help of scanning device along preset contour of break-off line in varying laser beam power in compliance with preset depth of penetration into strip material.
EFFECT: producing beak-off line to facilitate breaking preset strip sections off.
