FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making ceramic tape. The method of making ceramic tape involves preparation of at least one ceramic slip, casting the slip on an absorbing burnt substrate, subsequently spraying a layer of a dry glase mixture with thickness of 5-25% of the thickness of the layer of the slip onto the surface of the ceramic slip poured onto the substrate, drying and burning. The absorbing burnt substrate used is tape made from cardboard or paper on which a 0.1-1 mm hemihydrate gypsum layer is sprayed.
