SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, mainly to compositions of mixtures for making bricks. The ceramic mixture for making ceramic bricks contains average-plastic low-melting clay, wastes from processing salt aluminium-containing slag and flue ash material containing the following minerals in wt %: amorphised clay substance 10-20; organic matter 20-25; glass phase 45-65; quartz 7-10; feldspar 3-5; calcite 3-5; mullite 3-5; iron oxide 3-5; impurities - not more than 7, with the following ratio of components in wt %: average-plastic low-melting clay 50-80; wastes from processing solid salt aluminium-containing slag 7-20; flue ash material 13-30.

EFFECT: high frost resistance and strength of articles.
