SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, mainly to compositions of masses for brick production. Ceramic mass for brick production includes medium-plastic, easily-melted clay and wastes of procession of hard salt aluminium-containing slags, which contain in weight %: Al - 3-4; Al₂O₃ - 7-8; NaCl - 3-4; KCl - 1-2; Na₂CO₃ - 18-19; (NH₄)₂CO₃ - 12-13; H₂O - 0,9-1,0; SiO₂ - 44-45; CaCO₃ - 2-3; MgCO₃ - 0,9-1,0, with the following ratio of components, weight %: medium-plastic easily-melted clay 85-95; mentioned wastes - 5-15.

EFFECT: reduction of ceramic mass density.
