SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of ceramic materials, mainly to compositions of mixtures for making bricks. The ceramic mixture for making ceramic bricks contains average-plastic low-melting clay and salt aluminium slag burnt at 1000°C, containing the following in wt %: SiO₂ - 7.5; Al₂O₃ - 75.6; Fe₂O₃ - 1.7; CaO - 2.55; MgO - 7.6; R₂O - 5.12; percentage of other impurities - 0.46, with the following ratio of components in wt %: average-plastic low-melting clay 70-90; salt aluminium slag 10-30.

EFFECT: increased frost resistance and acid resistance of the articles.
