SUBSTANCE: method employs visual identification features with respect to an account among several financial accounts, such as associated and individual current accounts. The denotation can be applied to statements. Cheques, cheque/bank cards and other materials can also be visually identified. Also, a confidentiality flag can be applied to the account as part of the denotation to provide further notification for personnel and different systems that an individual account is confidential among associated accounts. The system for assigning financial accounts with visual distinguishing features may include a database of information on clients or accounts for storing multiple possible visual distinguishing features and one or more execution subsystems for issuing bank statements, checks, deposit slips and cheque cards.
