Whether a packet is present can be determined based on the average detection and power values. Second detection values can be determined based on a second set of samples. The beginning of a packet can be determined based on first and second detection values. A third detection value can be determined based on a third set of samples. The frequency error of a packet can be determined based on first and third detection values.
