METHOD TO PRODUCE NANOPARTICLES OF CURRENT-CONDUCTING MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC B22F9/14 B82B3/00

Abstract RU 2417862 C1

FIELD: nanotechnologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for production of current-conducting material nanoparticles. Method includes arrangement of electrodes from materials of produced nanoparticles in working fluid and carrying pulse electric discharges between them with formation of arc, while electrode-to-electrode gap is maintained constant. At the same time pulse electric discharges are modulated with a high-frequency signal, which is formed by a discharge capacitor joined to electrodes via a controlled inductance of an oscillating circuit. Frequency of the modulating high-frequency signal is matched with frequency of internal hydromechanical oscillations of working fluid in electrode-to-electrode gap by means of electrodes displacement relative to each other in plane, which is perpendicular to the electrode-to-electrode gap, by rotation and/or reverse motion.

EFFECT: stabilisation of hydrosol manufacturing process with specified monodisperse distribution of nanoparticles from various electrode materials.
