FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology, particularly to a generator for producing nanoparticles in a pulse-periodic discharge. Generator comprises discharge chamber (4) with gas inlet channel (11) and gas outlet channel (12) with aerosol particles. Two insulated electrodes (1), (2) of conducting materials are connected by conductive buses (5) to capacitive energy storage (6), periodically charged from high-voltage source (8) and discharged by pulse gas discharge between electrodes (1), (2) in discharge chamber (4). Discharge chamber (4) contains third electrode (3) installed between two electrodes (1), (2) and forming with these electrodes two consecutive interelectrode gaps. Third electrode (3) is connected to source (9) of control pulses, providing for periodic switching of pulsed discharge of capacitance accumulator through two consecutive interelectrode gaps with formation of pulse-periodic gas discharge in them.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of mass production efficiency of nanoparticles production due to high frequency of controlled follow-up of discharge current pulses and use of two interelectrode gaps.
