FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for single-step synthesis of isoprene from isobutylene and formaldehyde by reacting starting material high temperature with solid catalyst using microwave radiation with continuous distillation of the formed products, condensation of the distillate, characterised by that the solid catalyst used has the following composition in wt %: P2O5 - 33-41%, CaO - 39-45%, NiO - 9-11.5%, Cr2O3 - 6.5%, SiO2 - 1.5-2,5%, SO3 - 0.5-1.1%, Fe2O3 - 0.1 %.
EFFECT: use of the present method lowers power consumption and increases efficiency of the process.
