FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of converting gaseous hydrocarbon material into liquid fuel involves heating natural gas to obtain a mixture of synthetic gas from carbon dioxide, hydrogen and carbon monoxide, cooling the synthetic gas in a bioreactor in which synthetic gas undergoes fermentation in aqueous medium with anaerobic bacteria to obtain ethanol, which is then separated.
EFFECT: easier transportation of energy carriers from their extraction regions to consumers, including in cases when construction and use of gas pipelines is either unprofitable or is impossible, low power consumption.
