FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in an existing passive sensor in form of an antenna loaded on a parametric generator which can be single-circuited in form of a parametric circuit, consisting of an inductance and a nonlinear capacitor and tuned at half the frequency of the probing signal, or multi-circuited, consisting of a nonlinear capacitor and parallel-connected to the said capacitor two series-connected electric circuits tuned at different frequencies, the nonlinear capacitor is connected in series to an auto-bias circuit consisting of parallel-connected capacitor and resistor, where the resistor in the auto-bias circuit is selected such that its value depends on a defined parametre of the surrounding medium.
EFFECT: high reflecting power and noise immunity by using a parametric generation mechanism.
