FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: nozzle of fuel injector for supply of atomised liquid fuel consists of flat conducting electrode (104) with pointed end forming orifice for transmitting charge from electrode; of first (102) and second (106) isolating elements, and of swirler (112) for supply of whirling flow of liquid fuel to orifice. First isolating element (102) is positioned on an outlet side of the nozzle and has the first orifice. Second isolating element (106) has the second orifice, larger, than the first one. The first and second orifices are coaxial to the orifice of the electrode. Inside the orifice fuel whirls around axis perpendicular to plane of the electrode. With operating nozzle the electrode transmits charge to whirling flow of liquid fuel inside the orifice so, that the nozzle generates charged drops of atomised fuel. Additionally, the nozzle can contain first (100) and second (108) flat elements located on external flat sides of the first and second isolating elements correspondingly. Also, the first flat element has outlet orifice (114) for supply of charged drops of atomised fuel. The swirler can be radial or axial.
EFFECT: simplification of design.
