FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: stand for testing and calibrating dashed and bar codes of rods has a column mounted on a foundation insulated from the field, on which guide rails are mounted, where said rails are fitted with a movable bogie with the inspected rod, a levelling unit, a micro-transfer screw through which readings are made from the scale of the rod on the display of the levelling unit, and a laser interferometre through which displacement values of the bogie are read. The stand also has a unit for terminal reference length measurements, consisting of three equal terminal reference length measurements, and a reference bar code rod which is rigidly joined through unit of terminal measurements with the inspected rod by the heels towards each other.
EFFECT: high measurement accuracy and possibility of determining heels and difference in heels of bar codes of rods.
