FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: structure of an automated calibration plant of linear movements for metrological qualification of level gauges includes a doubled device for fixation of floats on a movable working carriage, a pneumatic device of "parallel capture" with possibility of fixing and aligning two level gauges in a vertical plane. A linear movement sensor installed on a drive guide is used as a measuring device of movement of the drive working carriage. Output signal from the linear movement sensor is a control signal for movement of the drive working carriage with floats fixed on it with the specified pitch along the installed level gauges; at that, due to possible inclinations of the movable working carriage, positioning of the latter at movement along the drive guide is implemented on one side for one level gauge, and positioning of the carriage for the second level gauge is calculated by means of a control programme considering corrections, along the frame there installed are temperature sensors intended for compensation of change of length of the drive guide and its bending depending on room temperature oscillations, as well as due to the method for improving accuracy of vertical plants for metrological qualification of two level gauges simultaneously.

EFFECT: possible performance of metrological qualification of two level gauges simultaneously with insignificant error throughout the level gauge length in a continuous mode with minimum pitch of 1 mm and level gauge length of up to 4000 mm.
