FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: multispectral image of Earth is made at various moments of time by means of a multispectral satellite sensor, besides, each multispectral image represents a combination of single-spectral images, every of which corresponds to a certain wave length (λ), at the same time each single-spectral image consists of pixels, every of which characterises the spectral intensity of radiation (Rλ) of the appropriate Earth area; formation of a model, corresponding to spectral intensities of radiation (Rλ) of each pixel of multispectral images measured at various moments of time and physical parametres, which characterise thermodynamic agents on the Earth surface, including a possible fire on the Earth surface, in the Earth atmosphere, such as clouds, a cloudy mantle, a fog and similar; and related to relative positions of the Earth and Sun; calculations for at least one considered pixel at the specified moment of time, at least, of a physical parametre in a model that reflects a potential fire on the Earth surface, on the basis of at least the spectral intensity of radiation (Rλ,t) at the specified moment of time, earlier measured spectral intensity of radiation (Rλ,t-Δt) and the same physical parametre calculated earlier on the basis of the same model.
EFFECT: improved validity of detection.
