FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: method for measuring the quantum efficiency of photodiode receivers of infrared radiation. When implementing the method, highly stable infrared radiation from a black body model is sequentially converted into monochromatic radiation of different wavelengths and the power of these monochromatic radiations is recorded with a measured photodiode receiver, the approximating normalized linear spectral dependence of the signal of this photodiode receiver on the wavelength of monochromatic radiation is found, from which the desired value is found by calculation quantum efficiency. As a black body model, a high-temperature model with a given phase transition of a pure substance or eutectic mixture is used; the spectral range and step between adjacent wavelengths of the created monochromatic radiation are set to the technical minimum possible.
EFFECT: reducing the duration of the calibration procedure and increasing the accuracy of measurements.
