FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: surface of the structure formed with branches of thermoelectric batteries (TEB), except areas lying close to projecting parts of switching plates, is covered with layer of heat-insulating dielectric material. The area not covered with layer of heat-insulating material is equal to the product of thickness of branch of thermal element by 1/4 of its height. The surface which is not covered with heat-insulating layer is provided with cross grooves. Heart removal from hot and cooled switching plates, as well as from the areas lying close to them, is performed owing to evaporative cooling by means of evaporation system.
EFFECT: improving heat removal or supply efficiency.
