METHOD TO DESIGN PROTECTIVE CLOTHES AND EQUIPMENT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY STAFF AND METHOD TO INSPECT SUCH CLOTHES AND EQUIPMENT FOR COMPLIANCE WITH TECHNICAL CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A41D13/00

Abstract RU 2419363 C2

FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: method to design clothes or equipment to protect staff of law enforcement agencies, consisting in the fact that availability of a mannequin is ensured with a set of sensors of kinematic parametres and/or a load, the device for application of an impact load is installed in a position, ensuring an opportunity to apply impact loads to at least one selected target zone of the mannequin by means of the impact loads device in accordance with the specified reproduced kinematic circuit, the specified impact loads are applied to the target zone of the mannequin, which is not closed with the protective clothes or protective equipment, and measurements are taken by means of a sensor (sensors), arranged in the area of the specified target zone, the specified clothes or the specified equipment are placed onto the mannequin so that the specified target zone is closed, the specified impact loads are applied to the target zone of the mannequin closed with the specified clothes or the specified equipment, and measurement are taken with the help of the specified sensor (sensors), using measurement results, at least one value of absorbed energy and/or weakening of the impact load with the specified clothes or equipment is determined, and if the specified value (the specified values) exceeds (exceed) threshold values, the clothes or equipment are identified as acceptable in respect of the specified threshold values, otherwise the protective clothes or equipment are structurally modified to increase values of the absorbed energy and/or to weaken the impact load. There is a method of homologation using the results of clothes or equipment testing to protect law enforcement agency staff.

EFFECT: invention provides for easier design of the protective clothes by improving accuracy of measuring the protective effect ensured with clothes and/or equipment.
