FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in production of glass articles and mirrors for exclusive furniture, stained-glass windows, table-tops, etc. Proposed device comprises housing, floating table to support article to be processed and processing head with tool mounted on floating part of movable holder. In compliance with one version, floating table is arranged in carriage moving in guides. In compliance with another version, it is arranged in housing post. In compliance with both versions, processed article is inclined to vertical plate at 1 to 5 degrees and pressed against the support and thrust rollers arranged on rotary platform of moving holder. Article bevel and edges may be processed using processing head with cup-tip tool or tool with shaped groove. Cup-tip tool is fed to article via thrust rollers while tool with shaped groove is fed thereto with thrust rollers withdrawn from processing zone.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced metal consumption, easier adjustment of tool and article relative arrangement.
