FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in machining edges of flat articles, mainly, from glass. Proposed machine tool comprises frame, table for workpiece, workpiece clamp and machining tool head with tool. Carriage with drive is arranged to displace in table guide and provided with post supporting device for cutting tool head turning thereabout relative to article edge. Said device is composed of moving four-link lever system. Equalising weights are arranged at two ends of the system to make tool head float in vertical plane. Article clamp is composed of two racks, top and bottom, displaced relative to table by said lever mechanism. There are detachable trusts intended for orientation of glass sheet relative to machining tool.
EFFECT: higher quality of glass machining.
