FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: system for estimation of parametres of underground reservoir consists of downhole equipment and sensor. Downhole equipment is installed in a borehole of the well. Downhole equipment consists of a downhole electro-magnetic unit for connection with an above-ground electro-magnetic unit. The sensor determines at least one parametre of the well on base of an electro-magnetic signal. Downhole equipment and the above-ground electro-magnetic unit transmit signals between them. Also, electro-magnetic signals pass through an underground reservoir owing to which the sensor determines at least one parametre of a downhole on base of this electro-magnetic signal corresponding to a function of induced current by the following formula:
where I is electric current returned to a gap on "d"; I is electric current transmitted to a reservoir, f is frequency of a signal; d is depth of distance over the gap; R is average specific resistance of a reservoir; k is coefficient of proportionality.
EFFECT: raised reliability and information value of at least one parametre of underground reservoir, namely, of average specific resistance of reservoir.
