SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the drilling of proximal wells, in particular to means for locating the casing of a neighboring well. Here, the ranging tool comprises a pair of magnetic sensors comprising a first magnetic sensor and a second magnetic sensor mounted radially opposite each other on a distance tool. Each of the magnetic sensors is designed and configured to detect at least the radial component and the tangential component of the magnetic field. In addition, the system includes a rotary assembly comprising an engine designed and configured to activate the rotation of a pair of magnetic sensors around the drill string; and an electronic module connected to a pair of magnetic sensors and/or an engine. Moreover, the electronic module contains a controller and a wireless telemetry device.
EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of technical means; in particular, a measurement system is proposed comprising a drill string and a long-range tool mounted on a drill string.
