FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: inlet end of built-in measuring system is connected to supplying section (400) of process pipeline. The measuring system consists of a measuring converter with measuring pipe (2) for transfer of measured medium. A sensor with at least one sensor element is installed in the measuring pipe. The measuring converter is connected to measuring electron equipment. A flow generator (300) with a gap converging in the direction of pipe (2) is positioned on the inlet end of the measuring pipe. The flow generator consists of collision surface (P) projecting into an internal channel of the generator and of an sharp internal edge (K) restricting collision surface. When measured medium flows through the flow generator collision surface and the sharp edge form stationary toroid vortexes - W2 and W1 correspondingly in an inlet region of the generator.

EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of measurement owing to adequately reproduced profile of fluid medium flow insensitive to disturbances created in the flow before the measuring converter correspondingly due to consistency of Strouhal number in cross section of pipe.
