FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Some implementation variants propose a chewing gum composition including a liquid filling composition and the chewing gum area enclosing the liquid filling. The chewing gum area has at least the first and the second layers. The first chewing gum area adjacent to the liquid filling contains gum base and maltitol in a quantity of approximately 30% - 80% of the first layer weight. The second layer of the chewing gum area contains gum base and at least partially encloses the first layer.
EFFECT: invention enables production of chewing gum with a liquid filling and two-layer chewing gum area which does not demonstrate noticeable loss of the liquid filling liquid state.
