FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: chewing gum composition contains from 5 % to 95 % of gum base; from 0.1 % to 10 % of taste-and-flavor agent; from 5 % to 95 % of volumetric sweetener. Bulk sweetener is selected from sugar, dextrose, fructose, xylose, mannose, isomaltulose, sorbitol, maltitol, isomalt, mannitol, xylitol, erythritol and lactitol. Part of bulk sweetener contains from 1 % to 50 % of pulp by weight of chewing gum composition, and chewing gum composition contains less than 5 % of moisture.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at production of chewing gum on the basis of non-cariogenic sweetener—allulose, having low humidity, improved texture and ability to storage.
