FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sprinkler comprises casing accommodating rotary ball valve communicated with sprinkler, charge spring and thermosensitive element made from alloy with shape memory. Valve body incorporates drive shaft while its lock is made up of anchor mechanism comprising gearing and rocker. Sprinkler charge spring has one end attached to valve body and another end attached to drive shaft that supports also anchor mechanism gear wheel. Besides, sprinkler comprises reversing spring for thermosensitive element. One end of said spring ia secured on sprinkler casing and another one jointed with rocker arm. One end of thermosensitive element is jointed with second arm of anchor mechanism while another end is secured on sprinkler casing. Sprinkler thermosensitive element is made up of thin straight wire or tape made from, for example, titanium nickelide its shape memory displaying in element shortening in heating.
EFFECT: automatic outage of sprinkling, reduced consumption of extinguishing foam or liquid, higher efficiency.
