FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises forcing, at least, one working medium and fluid medium into tube to produce cavitation therein. Working medium is made from polymer material, elongated along lengthwise axis and round cross section, that features diametre 0.8-1.2 mm smaller than tube ID and length making 2.5-5 tube diametres, and flat cuts of tube ends made at 30-60° to tube lengthwise axis. Working medium is forced into tube by gas-liquid mix pressure. Tube cleaning system comprises fluid feed unit 3, working medium feed device 1 and, at least, one working medium 2. Besides, said system comprises unit 4 to feed gas at pressure. Note here that working medium feed device may be jointed with fluid and gas feed units 3 and 4 and allow fitting working medium 2 into tube by gas-liquid mix pressure. Working medium 2 is identical to that described in proposed method. Working medium feed device comprises two communicating chambers. First chamber 11 is provided with union 16 to be jointed to fluid feed unit 3 features diametre larger than that of second chamber 12, and comprises, at least, a part of second chamber 12 provided with openings 15 made on wall located inside first chamber 11. Note here that second chamber 12 may accommodate, at least, two working media 2 and is provided with outlet nozzle 17 to be jointed with tube to be cleaned on one end, and, on the other end, it is provided with unit 4 to be jointed to gas feed unit 4. Outlet nozzle 17 has narrower section with sizes that allow forcing working medium 2 there through.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning small-diametre tubes.
