FIELD: mechanical engineering; hydromechanical method of pipe cleaning. SUBSTANCE: proposed method comes to placing cleaning member into space to be cleaned, setting it into rotation and delivering liquid. Cleaning member is rotated in direction opposite to direction of tooth cutting on generating surface of cleaning member which are relieved to Archimedean spiral. Teeth of cleaning member acting onto hard deposits shift them and chip until deposits are completely removed with finishing of removal provided by collar cut on cylindrical belt of cleaning member which provides cleaning of small diameter pipes, curvilinear pipes and pipes clogged by deposits. Hydromechanical device for realization of proposed method of cleaning has cleaning member in form of truncated cone on generating surface of which teeth are cut with size of relieving on width of cutting edge exceeding the value of rise to tooth, and size of relieving is defined by dependence relating pitch of screw cut to angle of tilting of cone of cleaning member working part and to number of cutting edges of cleaning member. Teeth of neighboring cutting edges are arranged in staggered order relative to each other, cutting edges are separated by grooves and cylindrical belt with collar is made behind last tooth. Pyramid is provided in front part of cleaning member pointed with its top in direction of displacement of cleaning member to provided breaking of middle part of deposits. In other design version plate with sharp edges is provided for this purpose, and collar is made either rectangular or trapezoidal in section. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning. 12 cl, 4 dwg
