FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coloured slag glass based on metallurgical industry wastes. The coloured slag glass contains blast-furnace slag from metallurgical industry of the following composition, in wt %: SiO2 - 16.5; Al2O3 - 6.21; MgO 9.57; CaO - 44.85; MnO - 7.33; FeO - 14.67; SO3 - 0.37; P2O5 - 0.5. The glass also contains scrap glass, borax, raw materials Li2CO3, K2CO3, ZnO, with the following ratio of components in wt %: scrap glass 44.5-65.0; blast furnace slag 0.5-40.0; borax 10.0-20.0; Li2CO3 - 2.0-5.0; K2CO3 3.0-6.0; ZnO - 0.5-3.5. The glass-melting temperature is equal to 1250 - 1300°C.
EFFECT: obtaining relatively cheap coloured slag glass with high degree of recycling industrial wastes, as well as low glass-melting temperature, wide working interval.
