FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to produce foam-diatomite bricks includes preparation of diatomite raw materials mass, its laying into moulds, compaction, formwork stripping, drying in furnaces, gradual cooling down to ambient air temperature, screening and placement onto trucks, annealing, cooling down to ambient temperature. The diatomite raw material mass is prepared with addition of diatomite powder of less than 15 mcm fraction with humidity, which does not exceed 3-8%. Compaction of raw materials mass poured into moulds is carried out on a vibration table with the frequency of 50-60 Hz and amplitude of 2 mm for 2-20 sec; subsequent pressing is carried out at the pressure of 0.2-0.5 MPa for 1-20 sec. Drying in ovens is carried out at the following modes: heating (temperature from 20 to 100°C, for 12 hours), curing (temperature of 100°C, for 24 hours), cooling (down to temperature of 20°C, for 2 hours). Annealing in furnaces is carried out at the following modes: heating (temperature from 20 to 800°C, for 8 hours), curing (temperature of 850-900°C, for 4 hours), curing at maximum temperature (temperature of 950°C, for 1 hour), cooling (down to temperature of 20°C, for 5 hours).

EFFECT: reduced time required to make a finished product by reduction of drying time and thus reduced prime cost of finished goods making.
